Why Polaroids?

Polaroids are an unforgiving and problematic way of capturing the world around us, and I love them so.

They are the antithesis to our modern perfection oriented world.

Post-manipulation is verboten, and instilling the photographers interpretation on the image is impossible.

Environmental influences of temperature, timing, errors of placement, movement, and lens aberration are permanently scored in the print.

I cherish how this approach reveals a roughly hewn impacting image of life.
